The Close to my Heart Postcard contest had me thinking about other great events I had not focused on in my Scrapbooking...I am usually much more interested in preserving memories of Nathan and family, Jessi, or Derek rather than my activities...But I couldn't resist these fun pictures of some of my team and I at Detroit Regionals last year!
Welcome to my blog...hopefully you will enjoy following my scrapbooking adventures! I have been a Close To My Heart consultant for nearly 8 years! I have earned the Eastern Carribean and Hawaii cruises! I host regular crops, gatherings (home parties) and fund raising events and would love to meet you at one of them! I can offer a great line of products from classic scrapbooking and card making to digital layouts. We have an exclusive cricut cartridge (Art Philosophy) mini albums, embellishments, and adhesives-everything for your paper crafting needs!

It sparked memoried of my first year going to convention at Disneyland, as a director! I was able to participate in more of a leadership role by speaking during one of the presentations, I moved with a group during Extravanza, passing out free products at the end of each demonstration, and loved sitting right up front during open sessions in my reserved seat!
I remember the director's dinner and trip to Disneyland's World of Color completely thanks to Close To My Heart! My most exciting moment came when my name was announced during the awards ceremony and I was called to the stage! I earned an award for top Straight to the Heart recruits in the U.S!
It was a whirlwind trip of learning, excitement, and fun! It made me wonder what will happen this July in Dallas? Can anything top last year? Here is my attempt at the first challenge for convention-a layout that includes my postcard inviting me to convention. But mine shares the memories from last year! Now it is just time to count down the days to Dallas!
