Scholastic Mini Album!

Here are just some of the pages made with cards and the Scholastic paper pack, chalk board journalling spots, and chalk marker!   Simple, fast and hold LOTS of pictures!  A whole year of school shots in one night!

Spend $35.00 in products and get a really cute Valentine test tubes that you can decorate and fill with goodies for co-workers,kids, grandkids, students, friends, etc.!  The kit comes with an exclusive stamp set, glitter paper and some cardstock, beside the 12 test tubes. I played the other night and just HALF of the kit is done!  I used some shapes from the Cricut Artiste, used the glitter tape to accent the glitter paper shapes, the Slate Mini Medley, and pink flowers from a discontinued accent pack!   The possibilities are endless!

Ornament Creation Cube:

Cut 6 nearly 3” x3” B & T papers,  ( I used bulk Partridge and Pear and used 4 sides the same side, top and bottom the opposite side of paper). 

Attach with Bonding memories glue, after distressing box and edges of paper with coordinating ink. 

Use scissors to poke a hole in the center top of the box.

Use your quilling tool to hook onto a desert sand ribbon that has been knotted together in a loop, to push the knot through that slotted hole.

 Place 4-2” x2” coordinating cardstock pieces (I used cranberry) in the 4 smallest mini-flip flaps from the small pack of flip flaps. 

Attach your flip flaps to each of the 4 sides.   Add pictures as you desire.

Cut leaves and poinsettias for the top using the CTMH Cricut Artiste Cartridge!  

Make sure the Real size function key is pressed for the flowers!   One is cut at 2.8” and the other is at 2.1”., using Accent 3, shift and the Z key.

 The leaf is cut at 1.8” using Accent 3, Shift, and 2 key.

   Use the holes in the middle of these items to thread your ribbon through as a topper, after you “shape” the flower and leaves with the rub-on tool.

This Partridge and Pear paper pack with the Kraft cardstock is a perfect combination for some more traditional country Christmas look!   Do the same card with olive and you have a totally different look!

Florentine July Club layout!

Cherish page 26, Column composition.   I used left over copper butterflys from Bliss and copper mini melody.   I sure hate how fast things are discontinued, so I need to remember to buy things I want as soon as I see them!   This paper pack will still be available next month in the new catalog!

June Club layout!

June Club layout!   Cruisin Paper! 

Here is my first post of convention layouts!   This is a modified Flirty paper pack.   I had to dig deep into the the old photo box to find some pictures that went with this pack, so my pink and orange flowers are on the back side of this layout and stayed with a more muted colors near the photos!

 This superhero layout features the Workshop on the Go!    But since the pictures I had to use for this paper shared more of an embarrassing "situation" for my son.  I used the same techniques for hidden journalling (which I used on the second page) to create a hidden picture.  So he and his children can pull that picture out and remember this time of his childhood, but it stays private from those who are browsing the album.  
   It is super easy to build up the photo on three sides with the thin part of the 3d foam tape (leaving the side open where the picture or journal
ling can pull out)   Attach a mat and pull tab
and you are done! 

May Club Layout

Foot loose Layout for May is Basically the Footloose WOTG layout with different paper selection from the same pack!  I did this to show how using the same layout with the same paper pack, just different papers can totally change the look!  Hope you enjoy!  

A totally different look for Cruisin paper!   I am loving this workshop on the go! 

Cruisin' /drivin'

I did not know how great this paper would be to document my son's transition from go carts to driving away with his license! 

Just in time for Father's Day or Grad Masculine card!   Folded directions:

Large size folded shirt card!

  Cut an 8” x 12” small print B&T, so the design is laying on it’s side.

 Score the paper the long ways 2” from each side and fold it inward, so the edges meet  in the middle of the page. 

Fold the “bottom” of the paper back 1” from the bottom.

Measure 3” from the top fold mark and  bend the paper inward so the tip of the “collar” touches the center point , then unfold the collar and trim ¼” from it. 

Fold the bottom of the card upward and tuck it under the collar by scoring it 5” from the bottom.  

  Next, make a necktie using a 4” x 1” solid cardstock and 1 x1” knot for the top of the tie( with a pop dot under it) .  Make a mini pocket and “handkerchief” , and add a tie bar if you wish!  ( Liquid glass hold the pocket down well. )

On the inside mat two light cardstock messages,  that are 2 ½” x 3 ½” with 3” x4” mats.  

Adhere the top one under the folds that make the collar. 

Fold out the “sleeve of the bottom half starting at about the 4” mark from the bottom.

Use the second piece to cover that and the brad used to mount the optional  tie bar.
